Rock Church Work Could Last 30 Days

Downtown Easton church damaged last year by Superstorm Sandy.

A large crane went up on Easton's North Fifth Street Tuesday morning as a crew began inspecting the steeple on Easton's Rock Church.

And that crane could be in front of the church for the next 30 days or more if workers need to do repairs, the congregation's lawyer told the Express-Times.

Those repairs could cost $250,000, attorney Kevin Santos told the newspaper.

The steeple of the church was damaged last year during Superstorm Sandy, with winds ripping one of the clocks from the tower.
