Thursday is the Fourth of July, which means pretty much every government office in Easton will be closed. Thursday and Friday's trash collection will also be delayed by one day.
Places that will be closed include:
- Easton City Hall
- Northampton County Government Center and other county offices, which includes the three district courts.
- Most banks.
- Easton Post Office and mail delivery
- Easton area schools
- The U.S. Social Security Administration office
- The Easton Area Public Library
- PennDOT's drivers license center.
