If you want to go swimming, the city has two pools, one at Heil Park on the South Side, the other at Eddyside Park on Route 611 heading north.

The pools are open from noon until 7 p.m. Daily admission is $5 for adults who live in the 18042 zip code, and $3 for kids. For non residents, it's $7 for adults and $5 for kids.

Read the pool handbook for more information.

If you feel like swimming in Wilson's Meuser Park pool, expect to pay $7 ($6 for kids) if you live outside the borough. Residents pay a dollar less.
