A Wilson teen has been arrested and charged with participating in the mugging of another borough teen for his cigarettes, according to court records.
Damitry Laws, 18, of 1918 Freemansburg Ave., is facing multiple felony counts in the robbery, which took place on the 1900 block of Washington Boulevard Monday.

The victim told Patrolman Frederick J. Lahovski Jr. that he had been assaulted by a group of men who took a shopping bag containing cigarettes and tea bags that he had just bought, according to the arrest affidavit. Lahovski wrote that the victim was bloodied and had a swollen nose.
During the investigation, Lahovski wrote that he interviewed a witness who told him that he saw Laws and another man—identified as Jeremy Smith Jr.—hit the victim and take the shopping bag.

The cigarettes were split among the assailants, police said.
Laws was charged with three counts of felony robbery, two counts of criminal conspiracy, and one count each of theft, receiving stolen property and simple assault.
He was arraigned Thursday night before on-duty District Judge James Narlesky of Hanover Township and committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
