Private-funding results are in for the first month of the new yearβ¦ letβs take a look.
The goal for 2022 is $114,706. This figure is based on the projected gap between the budget and the funding provided by state and local municipalities (see the 2021 year-end summary for more info).

In January, private funding totaled $5,872, mainly from sponsorships for the upcoming Tee Time event, plus annual fund donations. Sales from the Friendsβ Book Nook and cash receipts for printing and lost/damaged items made up the rest.
Two great opportunities to give the results a boost are coming up soon: First, the Friends of EPL will hold their annual Spring Used Book Sale on April 22 & 23 at Lower Macungie Middle School. Mark your calendar and make room on your bookshelves!

Next, the library will host the second annual Tee Time at the Library mini-golf event on April 29 & 30, featuring an adults-only evening and a family day. Visit the event page for info and links to order your tickets today!
