A Little Bit of Sunshine

Stop by this local lemonade stand for some refreshment and smiles!

Every Saturday, you can find Mary Almah Davis serving up organic lemonade at her very own stand at the corner of Biddle and Trenton avenues in the Regent Square area.

A student at the , she opened the stand last summer to save some money. Cups of lemonade go for 50 cents a piece.

"I am trying to earn money so I can buy stuff for myself so my dad doesn't have to buy it," she said.

Her father, Joe Davis, who is opening soon, helped her to build the colorful stand, which comes complete with a bright pink umbrella and accessories of a little hot dog and hamburger on the counter.

"I am also trying to save up for Sandcastle," she said.

The lemonade stand is open a few nights during the week after school and during the afternoon on the weekends.
