UPDATED: 800 Duquesne Light Customers Remain Without Power
An update from Duquesne Light spokesman Joey Vallarian.

Overnight restoration efforts by Duquesne Light crews have greatly reduced the number of affected customers, as only 800 remain without service as of 8 a.m. Saturday.
Duquesne Light crews are continuing to restoring power by removing trees and repairing downed wires. Downed wires are a safety hazard and should be avoided. They pose the danger of electrical shock and injury. Residents are advised to not drive over or go near downed wires.
The eastern suburbs took the brunt of the storm yesterday and that remains where the majority of the affected customers are located. There were multiple cases of downed wires in those areas, causing the power outages.
System restoration time is undetermined at this time, but we do expect to have customers restored today.
