Edgewood Symphony Seeks New Board Members

The is seeking three to five board members who are looking to volunteer to help grow the organization.

The group is interested in enthusiastic individuals who want to have fun, contribute to the Pittsburgh communities, and love music. 

Behind the scenes, the board of directors, supports, guides, and promotes the to enhance its status in the community and provide a vehicle for arts outreach.

The board members perform a variety of tasks such as planning, promoting and managing the Edgewood Symphony. Thanks to these enthusiastic and capable volunteers, the ESO is one of the area's top community orchestras.

Requirements for service:

  • Attend and actively participate in monthly board meetings, which are the first Thursday of each month.
  • Serve on at least two committees (strategic planning, finance, publicity, music, nominating, etc.)
  • Contribute (as able) to the fundraising efforts of the ESO

The board meets the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the in .

This season will be especially exciting for board and committee members because next fall will be the 25th season for the ESO.
