The Landmarks Housing Resource Center in Wilkinsburg has released its free ongoing workshops and seminars on home ownership and financing, restoration, do-it-yourself work, and other house repair and maintenance topics for April.

If you are adding some walls in the basement or re-thinking a space, please attend this workshop. Stephen Shelton of Shelton Masonry + Contracting will cover things you need to know about building interior walls.
 
Green and Sustainable Building Materials

Concerned about what materials you’re putting into your largest investment? Ian Miller of Artemis Environmental will present time tested and leading construction products for green building, chemical sensitivity, and sustainability. (Note: This workshop replaces a previously scheduled session on plant propagation, which will be presented at a later date.)
