July Fun and Festivities at Juniper: Celebrating with Community!

Juniper Village at Monroeville, an outstanding personal care community, had a vibrant and eventful July, brimming with exciting activities and celebrations alongside their cherished community partners.

Juniper’s valued partnership with Cornerstone Church kicked off the month with a Hawaiian Luau. Community members were transported to a tropical paradise, enjoying luau-themed games, festive decorations, delicious desserts, and an enriching bible study, fostering a sense of joy and togetherness.

“Christmas In July” was a magical highlight, thanks to Juniper’s collaboration with Gateway, Commonwealth, and Monarch Hospice. The spirit of Christmas came alive with visits from Mr. and Mrs. Claus, elves, and even the Grinch. The talented Dining Team prepared an array of tasty snacks and sweet treats, while Mikey Dee and Gail Griffith set the festive mood with holiday tunes, creating an enchanting experience for everyone.

A delightful wine tasting event, in partnership with Greenhouse Winery, offered residents the chance to savor a variety of red, rosé, and white wine. The event was elevated by a stunning charcuterie spread featuring an assortment of meats, cheeses, fruits, and crackers, prepared by Juniper’s exceptional Dining Team. The Niagara White wine emerged as a community favorite!

Amedisys Hospice brought a rootin’ tootin’ good time with Western Day. Community members enjoyed posing for fun photo opportunities with friends, neighbors, and associates against a wild west-themed backdrop, complete with cowboy hats and even a horse statue, making it a memorable and entertaining day.
