Phoenix Theatres 18 Closing On Labor Day: Reports

NORTH VERSAILLES, PA — The final day to see a movie at North Versailles' Stadium 18 theatre will be Labor Day, Sept. 6.

Parent company Phoenix Theatres Entertainment will shutter the Lincoln Highway North cinema in September, according to multiple reports.

The theatre cited a loss in customers due to the pandemic, and also the movie industry's waning selection of new releases, according to the Tribune Live.

A news release said employees there will be offered positions in Bridgeville. Anyone with gift cards to the North Versailles theatre can use them in Bridgeville or get a full refund, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
