Outbound Parkway East Traffic Shifts Monday in Monroeville

Here's a traffic update for next week.

PennDOT District 11 is announcing traffic on the outbound (eastbound) Parkway East (I-376) in the area approaching the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Exit 85 in Monroeville will be shifted from the right to the left side of the roadway on Monday night.

Crews will shift traffic to allow work to continue on the bridge that carries the outbound Parkway East over Business Route 22 (Route 2048). Various lane closures and restrictions may occur from 8 p.m. on Monday until the shift is completed overnight. Once traffic is shifted on the left side of the roadway, the outbound Parkway East will remain open to two, 10-foot wide lanes (right lane closed) in this area during peak periods through late November. All ramps will remain open.

Motorists are advised to use caution, allow extra time, and be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please slow down and be safe in the work zone.
