Pace School Celebrates the Season with Musical Show

Local students played hand bells and sang holiday songs Wednesday.

Students at Pace School, located in Churchill just behind the Woodland Hills School District building, celebrated the season with a selection of songs Wednesday afternoon.

"Singing By Candlelight," "Kwanzaa," and "Jingle Bells" were a few of the songs included in the program. One student, who is diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum and cannot speak, played the tune of "Jingle Bells" on specially designed instruments that each had a different color.

Santa Claus made a special appearance at the end of the show, sporting a pair of red sunglasses, after the students performed "Santa Claus Rock."
