Panera Bread Cookie Campaign for Autism Awareness Begins

Proceeds will benefit the Pittsburgh chapter of Autism Speaks.

In honor of National Autism Awareness month, Panera Bread is hosting a cookie campaign to raise support and awareness.

Panera Bread cafes throughout western Pennsylvania are participating in the “Pieces of Hope for Autism” campaign through to Saturday, April 6.

Panera is selling the shortbread cookies shaped in the autism puzzle piece logo with all proceeds going to the Pittsburgh chapter of Autism Speaks, an organization dedicated to increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders.

The Panera Bread locations closest to the Forest Hills area are:

  • Wilkins Township: Penn Center, 400 Penn Center Blvd.
  • East Liberty: Bakery Square, 136 Bakery Square Blvd.
  • The Waterfront: 210 West Bridge St., West Homestead
