Kya is a beautiful 4-year-old Great Pyrenees mix who was originally surrendered to Animal Rescue League in 2010 because there were too many animals on the farm where she lived.
In that home, she lived with and was very gentle with children from infants up to older children. She chased cats, however, and she doesn't like other dogs, so she'll need to be the only pet in her next home.
Kya was adopted earlier this year but she was recently returned due to the arrival of a new baby in the household. These owners did praise Kya for being sweet and cuddly, in a large dog kind of way.

They also indicated that she was house-trained and knows a lot of commands. She walks very well on the leash and is attentive to your voice.
Kya's ideal home would be one with a large yard or with a family that was willing to take her on long walks every day.
