Pepperidge Farm Issues Recall on Sesame Sticks
Sesame sticks might contain small thin pieces of wire.

Pepperidge Farm has recalled around 13,000 cases of its Baked Naturals Sesame Sticks manufactured at a plant in Ohio because they might contain small thin pieces of wire.
The company, in a statement, said it would voluntarily recall the 10.2-ounce boxes of sesame sticks as a precaution because a few customers reported scrapes in or around their mouths after eating the sesame sticks. The sesame sticks were manufactured and shipped from the Pepperidge Farm plant in Willard, Ohio, and bear sell-by dates between Nov. 20 and Jan. 1. No other Pepperidge Farm items are involved in the recall.
Boxes subject to the recall are marked with a yellow banner across the top of the package that reads "20% More!"Â The packages also will bear one of these codes and sell-by dates on the top flap:
- W07*1781 Sell by 11/20/2011
- Â W07*1891 Sell by 11/27/2011
- W07*1921 Sell by 12/4/2011
- W07*2041 Sell by 12/11/2011Â
- W07*2061 Sell by 12/13/2011

Customers who have purchased this packages should not eat the contents. Packages may be returned to the stores where they were purchased for exchange or full refund. Customers also may contact Pepperidge Farm between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 866-535-3774.
