Root 174 has been named one of Pittsburgh best restaurants of 2013, according to Pittsburgh Magazine.
The small restaurant serves up big flavors with popular dishes like appetizer Brussels sprouts with a bacon black-pepper glaze.
The magazine says the vegan and vegetarian dishes go above and beyond, specifically the desserts.
Keith Fuller is the chef and co-owner.Â
