Root 174 Holds Open House

Chef Keith Fuller gave neighbors a sneak peak into the new Regent Square restaurant Sunday night.

opened the doors of in Regent Square night, offering beer, wine and a taste of some of what's to come as he opens his new restaurant Tuesday.

Neighbors were able to pass through and enjoy free appetizers, some of which included Fuller's coffee crust wings with a green curry, falafel and fried brussel sprouts with black pepper bacon jam. The restaurant was named for the square root of the two combined zip codes of the Regent Square neighborhood.

"Root 174 is a contemporary neighborhood bistro focused on building community relationships by serving the highest quality 'cultivated comfort food,' an exceptional guest experience and by giving back to the '174' community," its website states.
