Squirrel Hill Tunnel Cleaning Nightly Next Week in Pittsburgh
Here's a look at traffic issues next week.
PennDOT District 11Â is announcing single lane restrictions in the Squirrel Hill Tunnel on the Parkway East (I-376) next week, Tuesday through Thursday nights.
Crews will be cleaning inside the tunnel. Single lane closures will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. according to the following schedule:
- Inbound (westbound) Tuesday and Wednesday nights
- Outbound (eastbound) Thursday night
Drivers are advised to use caution and allow extra time when traveling through the area. Log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic and cameras on major roadways before traveling.
