(UCP/CLASS) recently was awarded a grant of $100,000 by the FISA Foundation in support of its current capital campaign.
The campaign is for renovations to UCP's second facility at 1400 South Braddock Avenue in Swissvale. The organization will continue providing services from its original headquarters located at 4638 Centre Avenue in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh.
“The FISA Foundation grant is important to our organization,” says , CEO of UCP/CLASS. “These grant funds will enable us to consolidate five agency programs into one space and not only enhance communication and staff connectedness, but to ultimately allow us to have a substantial savings from closing leases. Furthermore, it will allow UCP/CLASS as an organization to continue to expand, providing services to more men, women, and children with and without disabilities. We are very appreciative of the role the FISA Foundation has played in enabling us to do this.”
