Wilkinsburg Center Offers Two Home-Related Seminars
Landmarks Housing Resource Center offers programs on neighborhood identity and solar power during February.

Landmarks Housing Resource Center will offer two new sessions during February in its series of ongoing workshops and seminars on home ownership, restoration, do-it-yourself work, and other house repair and maintenance topics.

Laurence Glasco, a University of Pittsburgh associate professor and Pittsburgh History and Landmarks trustee, will present "Understanding Neighborhood Identity" from 10 to 11:30 a.m. this Saturday, Feb. 9.
Ian Smith, an energy consultant with Standard Solar, will present "Is Solar Right for You?" from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23.
All sessions are free and open to the public. The Landmarks Housing Resource Center, a program of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation, is located at 744 Rebecca Avenue in Wilkinsburg.
