Wolverines Fans Prep for Friday's WPIAL Championship Game
Alumni are gathering Thanksgiving morning at the Wolvarena and Woodland Hills Boosters are planning a tailgate party at Heinz Field before the big game.

Friday is the big day as the Wolverines make their eighth trip in the last 16 years to the WPIAL AAAA finals.
But the show of support begins at 9 a.m. Thanksgiving Day at the Wolvarena in Turtle Creek with a special alumni event to give a show of support for this year's team as the players head into the championship game. There'll be free coffee, hot chocolate, water and doughnuts for those who attend.
And the fans have a chance to build on their enthusiasm before the game as the Woodland Hills Boosters host a tailgate party from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Heinz Field.

All Wolverine fans are welcome—just look for the black, white and turquoise balloons. Those who join in the pre-game celebration are asked to bring beverages and/or side dishes so everyone has a chance to fuel up for the game.
