• Police: Seneca Man Faces Charges After Being Found Unresponsive with Dozens of Suspected Fentanyl Bags Near Local High School (explorevenango.com) — A Seneca man is facing felony drug and DUI charges after state police say they found him unresponsive in a vehicle outside Franklin Area High School with dozens of suspected fentanyl bags. PSP Franklin troopers report additional suspected drugs and paraphernalia were recovered, and blood tests indicated multiple controlled substances. The case was recently filed, with a preliminary hearing still unscheduled.

• District 10 releases proposed fall regions for next cycle (centredaily.com) — Franklin High School teams are slated to share new District 10 regions with familiar rivals like Oil City, Warren, Meadville, and others under a proposed 2026–28 realignment. Football, volleyball, soccer, cross country, and golf regions would all shift slightly. The plan still needs formal approval at a January District 10 committee meeting.
