• Berks woman charged with child endangerment after son found in unheated car (readingeagle.com) — A young child from the Eastern Berks area was treated for mild hypothermia at Lehigh Valley Gilbertsville Hospital after relatives found him alone in an unheated SUV on a frigid night. State police say the boy’s mother, a Bechtelsville woman, is charged with child endangerment and reckless endangerment after allegedly leaving him outside while she spent hours inside a friend’s home.
