• No jail time for Grove City Library board member in embezzlement case (wfmj.com) — A former Grove City Library board member has been sentenced to a year of probation and 100 hours of community service after repaying more than $10,000 in restitution for unauthorized transfers from the library’s account. The case, which uncovered thousands in electronic debits to a personal account, follows a separate earlier embezzlement conviction involving the same library.
   

• Pennsylvania hunter harvests heaviest bear of the year (abc27.com) — A western Pennsylvania hunter who harvested one of the heaviest bears of this year’s season plans to celebrate with friends over a steak dinner in Grove City. While the 717‑pound bear came from Butler County, the victory meal and plenty of bear meat will be enjoyed closer to home, despite some online criticism of the hunt.
   

• Emily Matz Game Report: @ Grove City (maxpreps.com) — Grove City fans saw Moniteau’s Emily Matz turn in her best all-around game of the season Tuesday, piling up points, rebounds, and seven steals on the road. The defensive standout has recorded multiple steals in five straight games and now heads into a Saturday matchup against Portersville Christian looking to extend her hot streak.
