10th Annual Delaware County Police K-9 Competition Set For Nov 9

The annual competition will once again test the skill of the region's K-9 officers and their handlers at Haverford Middle School next month.

HAVERTOWN, PA — Haverford Township Police are inviting the public to the 10th Annual Delaware County Police K-9 Competition.

This year's event will be held at noon on Nov. 9 on the football field behind Haverford Middle School.

K-9 teams from across the region will compete in various challenges, including agility courses, apprehension exercises, obedience tests, and more.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the "Honor Their Service" fund, established in memory of the three Northern York County Regional Officers who were killed Sept. 17.

The day will also feature family activities, and contribute to a noble cause.

Due to the nature and the location of the event, dogs are not permitted to attend.

Haverford Middle School is located at 701 Darby Road in Havertown.
