60,000 Wawa-Branded Tumblers Recalled Due To Cutting Risk
The tumblers' metal straws are able to cut mouths and fingers, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission said.

WAWA, PA — Tens of thousands of Wawa-branded tumblers sold exclusively at the convenience chain have been recalled.
According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, 60,000 of the tumblers in question have been recalled. This is due to the tumblers' metal straws being able to cut mouths and fingers, the commission said.
Halo Branding Solutions is the manufacturer of the tumblers.

The tumblers in question come in four styles: “The Mermaid” which is pink/green, “Island Surf” which is blue/yellow, “Sailor Breeze” which is tan/orange and “The Galaxy” which is blue/pink, Halo said in an announcement.
All are 24 ounces, come with a tan lid, and have Wawa imprinted on them.

These products were sold at Wawa stores in Alabama, Washington D.C., Delaware, Florida, North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland in August.
The company said there have been four reports of tumblers causing lacerations to hands and mouths.
