Delco Seeking Local Veterans' Books, Journals, More
The county's Military and Veterans Affairs Department is asking for resident to submit writings about military and veteran life.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Delaware County's Military and Veterans Affairs Department is looking for books, memoirs, or journals regarding military service of local veterans and veteran families.
Officials want to collect these veteran writings for several reasons.
Gathering these words will provide a constructive venue for veterans to gather, enlighten community members about the military service rendered by local residents, and enable more veterans and their families to get to know each other.

Anyone in Delaware County who has musings about military and veteran life can drop off the items at the Delaware County Council meeting room in the courthouse, 201 W. Front St. in Media, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 10.
Those who wish to submit the writings are asked to contact the Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association office at 610-400-8722 or info@delcoveteransmemorial.com.
