ACME on Track to Open Late Spring

Haverford Township residents maybe happy to hear that the ACME is expected to open in late spring.

The intended date for the Bryn Mawr ACME to reopen was March 2, but bad weather last year delayed construction.

The store is still on schedule to open late spring, Lower Merion Township Commissioner Scott Zelov (Ward 10) told the Bryn Mawr Civic Association on Monday night, but an official reopening date has not yet been set.

Much of the exterior brick work has been completed. The ACME closed in May 2011.
