Aqua PA Work Affecting Traffic In Haverford Township
Road closures and an intersection closure due to Aqua Pennsylvania will be in effect this week and next in Haverford Township.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Traffic on busy Haverford Township roads is being disrupted by Aqua Pennsylvania work this week and next week, according to officials.
The utility company is doing infrastructure repair work at the intersection of Eagle Road and West Darby Road.
As a result, the intersection is fully closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Crews will be working to repair storm pipes and manholes.

Then, from Friday to Tuesday, road closures will affect Eagle Road and Pennview Road, Hillcrest Road and Darby Road, East Darby Road and Eagle Road, and a split crossover section on West Darby Road.
These closures will also be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crews will be working to do base repairs, milling, and paving.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes and exercise caution when traveling near the work zones.
