Woman Dies From Delco House Fire Injuries: Officials
Embraya Redd is predeceased by her 3-year-old son, Sy'Aire Redd. Both were severely hurt in a Chester fire on Nov. 19, officials said.
CHESTER, PA — A woman who was severely hurt in a Delaware County fire last month has reportedly died.
Chester City Councilman Fred Green identified the victim as Embraya Redd.
Redd died as a result of her injuries suffered in a fire that started at about 8:46 p.m. Nov. 19 at a home on the 200 block of Wilson Street in Chester, firefighters said.

Just days after the fire, Green said a 3-year-old boy who was hurt in the fire died. He was identified as Sy’Aire Redd.
Crews were called to the area for a report of a residential fire with entrapment.

A child was found in the home's second floor within minutes of firefighters arriving at the scene, according to officials.
An adult woman was also found in the home.
The fire was placed under control in about an hour, firefighters said.
Investigators are looking into what caused the fire.
