Aqua Will Replace Water Mains in Delco

The following was provided to Patch by PennDOT:

Aqua Pennsylvania will restrict traffic next week on Route 320 (Sproul Road) in Marple Township, Delaware County, and Steele Road and Burmont Road in Haverford Township, Delaware County, starting Monday (Feb. 16) for water main replacements, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Wednesday.

The work schedule is:

• Monday through Friday (Feb. 16-20) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane restrictions are scheduled on Steele Road at the James Drive, Clamar Avenue and Stump Road intersections. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Monday through Friday (Feb. 16-20) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane restrictions are scheduled on Burmont Road at the Stump Road Intersection. Traffic will be controlled by flagging; and
• Tuesday through Friday (Feb. 17-20) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 320 (Sproul Road) at the Williamsburg Drive Intersection. Traffic will be controlled by flagging.

The construction schedule is contingent on the weather.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
