Assault, Theft, Fraud, More: Haverford Crime Blotter

Haverford Township Police said a resident's bank account was accessed fraudulently and $50,000 was transferred to another account.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Police released details on crimes in the township that occurred recently.

These crimes happened between May 14 and May 20.

The crime blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

  • Fraud at the700 block of Millbrook Lane on May 14 at 8:46 a.m. – Victim reported an unauthorized purchase was made with his debit card.
  • Fraud at the 1700 block of Earlington Road on May 15 at 1915 hours – The victim reported that her credit card was compromised and $4,380.07 of unauthorized purchases were made.
  • Identity Theft at Wiedenman Architecture LLC, unit block of E. Eagle Road, on May 15 at 12:29 p.m. – The owner reported that someone has been charging $55 per month to his AT&T account, totaling $1,300 loss.
  • Fraud at the 800 block of Beechwood Drive on May 16 at 9:36 a.m. – Victim reported that someone gained access to his bank account and made multiple unauthorized transactions. They also transferred $50,000 to an unknown account.
  • Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on May 16 at 11:43 a.m. – An unknown female stole approximately $350 worth of merchandise.
  • Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on May 16 at 2:50 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered - $1,000 worth of tools were stolen.
  • Criminal Mischief at Merion Golf Club, 200 block of Golfview Road, on May 18 at 8:54 a.m. – Two juveniles rode dirt bikes on the golf course, causing damage to the 12th green.
  • Retail Theft at Acme, 600 block of Lancaster Avenue, on May 19 at 10:43 a.m. – An unknown female stole two bags of shrimp valued at $53.94.
  • Retail Theft at Acme, 600 block of Lancaster Avenue, on May 19 at 10:39 a.m. – An unknown male stole $365.67 worth of over-the-counter medication.
  • Retail Theft at Acme, 600 block of Lancaster Avenue, on May 19 at 6:39 p.m. – An unknown male stole $473.79 worth of merchandise.
  • Theft at the 800 block of Aubrey Avenue on May 20 at 3:31 p.m. – The victim reported that her lawn mower was stolen from her backyard.
  • Attempted Theft at the unit block of Langhorne Avenue on May 20 at 11:26 p.m. – An unknown actor entered two vehicles – nothing was reported missing.
  • Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on May 20 at 7:13 p.m. – Two unknown females stole approximately $1,000 worth of merchandise.

  • 25-year-old male, 2600 block of S. 11th Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Simple assault and harassment. Location: West Chester Pike and Country Club Lane. Date: May 17 at 7:13 p.m.
  • 49-year-old male, Homeless. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: May 19 at 5:33 p.m.
  • 26-year-old male, 500 block of 7th Street, Chester. Charges: Warrant. Location: Grove Place and Manoa Road. Date: May 18 at 2:03 a.m.
  • 47-year-old male, 500 block of Geneva Avenue, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, criminal conspiracy, false identification to law enforcement. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: May 18 at 10:49 a.m.
  • 54-year-old male, 200 block of E. Ashdale Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, criminal conspiracy, suspended registration, no inspection or insurance. Location: Lowe’s. Date: May 18 at 10:49 a.m.
