HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Police shared details on recent crime incidents that occurred in the township.

These incidents took place between Oct. 8 and Oct. 14.

The blotter also featured arrests made and citations issued.

  • Theft at the 1800 block of Manor Road on Oct. 8 at 5:15 p.m. – The victim reported $500.00 worth of tools were stolen.
  • Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Oct. 8 at 8:10 p.m. – An unknown male stole $118.66 worth of merchandise.
  • Counterfeiting at C&M, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Oct. 9 at 11:18 a.m. – Two unknown males passed a counterfeit $100 bills on two separate occasions. Both subjects made a $20 purchase and received $80 in change.
  • Liquor Law Violation at the 100 block of Shawnee Road on Oct. 11 at 8:49 p.m. – Multiple juveniles were cited for underage drinking.
  • Theft at the 300 block of Bryan Street on Oct. 12 at 1:25 a.m. – The victim reported the curb line water shut off valve cap was stolen.
  • Fraud at Lawrence Hill Apartments, 1900 block of Lawrence Road, on Oct. 14 at 2:53 p.m. – The victim reported that she was attempting to add her Amazon account to a new television and was directed to a website. Customer service advised her to purchase $200.00 worth of Amazon gift cards to fix the situation. She became aware of the scam after she provided them with the gift card information.

Arrests

  • 27-year-old male, 200 block of Furley Street, Philadelphia. Charges: DUI, driving without a license, failure to use safety belt. Location: 1000 block of Darby Road. Date: Oct. 11 at 11:34 p.m.
  • 27-year-old female, 5700 block of Walker Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Receiving stolen property. Location: 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Oct. 13 at 1:12 p.m.
