Delco Opens Emergency Call Center, Shelter In Darby

The Darby Borough Recreation Center is serving as a shelter for those affected by potential flooding from Ida's remnants.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — As remnants from Hurricane Ida threaten the region with flooding, storms, and potential tornadoes, officials in Delaware County are preparing for emergencies.

The Delaware County Emergency Operations Center at the County’s 911 Center was activated Wednesday morning.

In the event of storm-related emergency, call 911 to be connected with the center.
