According to the Delaware County District Attorney's office, the warrant service was the result of an investigation by Task Force Officer/Cpl. Thomas Takacs of the Darby Borough Police Department.
Takacs coordinated numerous purchases by confidential informants of illegal narcotics from the four following complaints of illegal drug trafficking within Darby Borough, particularly the Wishing Well bar at 8 N. Sixth Street, suite A, in Darby, the DA's office said.

These controlled buys included purchases of cocaine and prescription medications, many of them taking place at the bar, according to investigators.
Authorities were able to dismantle the illegal operation and remove the narcotics that were being distributed, according to the DA's office.
During the search, investigators found 11 bags containing a white powdery substance, three sandwich bags containing a white crystal substance, packaging material commonly used for drugs, fake cash, white chunky substances, digital scales, Buprenorphine and Naloxone strips,
"Drug dealers need to know they are not welcome in Darby Borough," Darby Police Chief Joe Gabe said. "The Darby Borough Police Department uses every tool available to keep our community safe. I especially want to congratulate Corporal Thomas Takacs who lead the investigation that took down this drug house."
District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer thanked the men and women of the Darby Borough Police Department, the Delaware County Narcotics Task Force, and the members of Region 1 Delco Emergency Response Team (ERT) for their work in dismantling the operation.
All four men are being held in Delaware County after failing to post 10 percent of $50,000 bail each, court records show. They are all scheduled for Oct. 15 preliminary hearings, according to court documents.
