"The Haverford Township Free Library will be hosting an Artisans’ Craft Marketplace on Saturday, April 30 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first floor of the library.
Over 20 handcrafters will be selling their work just in time for Mother’s Day and Graduation gift buying. The event will feature reasonably priced handcrafted jewelry, handbags, stuffed animals, note cards, summer wear and various crafts from local talented individuals. Admission is free, so please come and support these local crafters and purchase some lovely items for a friend, loved one or yourself! Tickets for handcrafted raffle items will be available for purchase at $1 each or 6 for $5. Free refreshments will be available. The profits from hosting this sale and the raffle will benefit the library.
If you come, please take notice of the many lovely paintings and photographs, sculpture, pottery and jewelry on all three floors of the library. These are part of the “Art of the Garden” exhibit and sale currently being hosted by the Friends of the Library until June 21st. This professional exhibition is being curated by Laura Jean Zito of Merion.
