Flu Shot Clinic Planned For Thursday Evening At 69 Street Terminal

Stop by the 69th Street Terminal Thursday evening for a free flu shot from the Delaware County Health Department.

UPPER DARBY, PA — Health officials in Delaware County are hosting a flu shot clinic Thursday evening.

The 69th Street Terminal Influenza Immunization Clinic will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday inside the 69th Street Terminal.

Flu shots are available at no cost. Insurance is required, but appointments are not necessary.

High dose flu shots for residents over 65 years old are not available.

"The flu can infect residents and passengers no matter what route they take during their travels this year," Delaware County Health Department Director Melissa Lyon said. "With the holidays quickly approaching we are urging residents to take advantage of this opportunity no matter which direction home is."

Residents who are unable to attend the 69th St. Terminal clinic are encouraged to walk in to one of the health department's remaining free "Walk-in Flu Shot Wednesday" clinics. Insurance and appointments are also not required.

Sixty-ninth Street Terminal is located at 6901 Market St. in Upper Darby.
