HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford released details on recent crimes in the township.

The latest blotter features incidents that occurred between Sept. 17 and Sept. 23.

It also includes arrests made and citations issued.

Incidents

• Identity Theft at the 700 block of College Avenue on Sept. 17 at 1:25 p.m. – The victim reported that someone used his identity to file for a 2024 tax return.
• Retail Theft at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on Sept. 17 at 2:58 p.m. – Three juveniles stole approximately $10 worth of merchandise.
• Identity Theft at Propel Credit Union, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 17 at 10:51 a.m. – An unknown male attempted to cash a fraudulent check.
• Retail Theft at CVS, 1100 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 17 at 2:57 p.m. – An unknown male and female stole $200 worth of laundry detergent.
• Theft at Burger King, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 17 at 3:23 p.m. – An unknown male stole an order that was placed on the counter for a delivery.
• Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 17 at 11:02 a.m. – An unknown male selected a Ninja Slushi machine and proceeded to customer service to make a fraudulent return. The suspect was issued a $370.99 store credit.
• Criminal Mischief at Nudy’s Café, unit block of W. Eagle Road, on Sept. 18 at 2:31 p.m. – Graffiti was discovered.
• Identity Theft at the unit block of E. Langhorne Avenue on Sept. 18 at 1:08 p.m. – The victim reported that someone opened a Walmart credit card using her identity.
• Criminal Mischief at the 400 block of Glendale Road on Sept. 19 at 10:58 a.m. – Vehicle was egged.
• Attempted Theft at the 2500 block of Olcott Avenue on Sept. 19 at 6:56 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – nothing was reported missing.
• Attempted Theft at the 300 block of Lansdowne Road on Sept. 19 at 3:15 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – nothing was reported missing.
• Theft at the 2900 block of Rising Sun Road on Sept. 19 at 10:40 a.m. – Vehicle was entered – Apple AirPods were stolen.
• Attempted Theft at the 100 block of E. Park Road on Sept. 19 6:36 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – nothing was reported missing.
• Attempted Theft at the unit block of Patton Drive on Sept. 19 at 12:13 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – nothing was reported missing.
• Attempted Theft at the unit block of Llandaff Road on Sept. 19 at 4:08 p.m. – Vehicle was entered – nothing was reported missing.
• Bicycle Theft at Haverford Road and Hathaway Lane on Sept. 20 at 6:24 p.m.
• Attempted Theft at the 1200 block of West Chester Pike on Sept. 21 at 9:30 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – nothing was reported missing.
• Criminal Mischief at the unit block of Lincoln Avenue on Sept. 22 at 9:36 p.m. – Unknown juveniles broke a window to the residence.
• Identity Theft at the unit block of Llandillo Road on Sept. 22 at 4:05 p.m. – The victim reported that someone opened a Verizon account using his identity.
• Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Sept. 22 at 6:13 p.m. – An unknown female stole a shopping cart full of groceries.
• Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Sept. 23 at 4:19 p.m. – An unknown female stole approximately $200 worth of electronic merchandise.
• Retail Theft at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on Sept. 23 at 5:15 a.m. – 19-year-old male, 600 block of Leverington Avenue, Philadelphia was cited for disorderly conduct for the retail theft of $14.55 worth of merchandise and a 19-year-old male was arrested

• 42-year-old male, 900 block of Woodlawn Avenue, Philadelphia. Charges: DUI. Location: Myrtle Avenue and Bennington Road. Date: Sept. 20 at 9:10 p.m.
• 59-year-old male, 2500 block of 18th Street, Philadelphia. Charges: DUI. Location: 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 20 at 12:23 a.m.
• 18-year-old male, 2000 block of Albright Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Forgery, theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception, criminal attempt, possession of marijuana and possession of an instrument of crime. Location: Norman’s Hallmark, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 22 at 2:56 p.m.
• 16-year-old male was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Firearms not to be carried without a license, make repairs/sell/etc. offensive weapons, possession of a firearm by a minor, retail theft, evading arrest, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana. Location: Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road. Date: Sept. 18 at 11:09 a.m.
• 19-year-old male, 300 block of Simpson Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Firearms not to be carried without a license, make repairs/sell/etc. offensive weapons and retail theft Location: Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road. Date: Sept. 23 at 5:15 a.m.
