Future of Closed Sunoco Station Uncertain
The Sunoco Station on West Chester Pike has been closed since Monday, July 02.
The future of the closed Sunoco Station on West Chester Pike is uncertain, according to Thomas Golembeski, the company’s corporate communications manager.
“(The gas station) is in the process of being evaluated, if it will be place on hold or will sell it,” Golembeski told the Haverford-Havertown Patch in a phone interview, adding that the Havertown station closed on Monday, July 02.
Golembeski explained that the company is trying to determine if the gas station will be sold to an independent person, where the company will supply gas and will fly the company’s flag, or if the gas station will be owned and operated by Sunoco itself.
