Loaded Rifle Found In Suspicious Vehicle Stop At Delco Wawa: Police
Police took four people into custody and found a loaded rifle when responding to a suspicious vehicle report at a Wawa Wednesday morning.
HAVERTOWN, PA — Haverford Township Police found a loaded gun during a traffic stop Wednesday morning.
Authorities said officers were called to the Wawa at 33-35 E. Eagle Road in Havertown for a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Police told Patch the Wawa manager saw four people sleeping in a vehicle parked outside the store Wednesday morning.

The manage flagged down a police unit, which led officers to investigate the vehicle.
Officers woke the four people up, and then noticed a loaded rifle in the back passenger seat of the vehicle.

Police said the vehicle's registration was also reported stolen.
Officers took the four into custody and they have charges pending, police said.
Police are investigating the incident and said there is no threat to the public.
