Haverford Firefighter Honored For 50 Years Of Service
One Haverford-area local is celebrating half a century of service with the township's fire department, officials said.
HAVERFORD, PA - One Haverford-area local is celebrating half a century of service with the township’s fire department, officials said.
Hoseman Robert J. Meyers was honored during a Wednesday awards ceremony hosted by the Haverford Township Bureau of Fire Recruitment and Retention Committee for 50 years of dedicated service with the Oakmont Fire Company, the department said in a statement.
The awards night recognized a slew of other township firefighters' accomplishments over the past three years, officials said.

“Congratulations to everyone, and thank you for your past and continued service to the citizens of Haverford Township,” the fire company said.
