Haverford Police Investigating Thefts from Cars

About a dozen cars throughout Haverford Township have been entered in the month of July, according to police.

Items that range from loose change to a laptop computer have been taken from unlocked cars this month, according to the Haverford Township Police Department's blotter.

Police are investigating the thefts. But Sgt. Shant Bedrossian told residents not to be "a victim of opportunity."

He cautioned the public to "make sure they lock their vehicles and not leave valuables in view."

The reported thefts from cars in July are listed below:

Theft at the 1200 block of E. Darby Road on 7/17 @ 1454 hours - Unlocked vehicle was entered - Ugg boots were stolen.

Theft at the 800 block of Dover Road on 7/17 @ 1245 hours - Unlocked vehicle was entered - GPS, i-phone charger and loose change was stolen.

Theft at the 300 block of Farwood Road on 7/17 @ 1329 hours - Unlocked vehicle was entered - loose change was stolen.

Theft at the 1200 block of E. Darby Road on 7/17 @ 1443 hours - Unlocked vehicle was entered - $10 was stolen.

Theft at the 800 block of Powder Mill Lane on 7/17 @ 1827 hours - Unlocked vehicle was entered - loose change was stolen.

Theft at the unit block of E. Eagle Road on 7/16 @ 0838 hours - Unsecured vehicle was entered - $100, gift cards, lottery tickets and photographs were stolen.

Theft at the 600 block of Woodcrest Avenue on 7/16 @ 0709 hours - Unlocked vehicle was entered - GPS was stolen.

Theft at the 700 block of Aubrey Avenue on 7/16 @ 0955 hours - Unlocked vehicle was entered - camera was stolen.

Theft at the 700 block of Loraine Street on 7/16 @ 1837 hours - Unlocked vehicle was entered - loose change and personal paperwork was stolen. 

Theft at the 700 block of Aubrey Avenue on 7/9 @ 1338 hours - Vehicle was entered - GPS, i-phone charger, $40 and loose change was stolen.

Theft at the 200 block of Pine Ridge Road on 7/2 @ 0810 hours - Vehicle was entered - laptop was stolen.
