Police said three children — ages 6, 4, and 1, according to Action News — were inside the vehicle at the time of the incident. All are safe and have been reunited with family.
NBC10 reports the man and woman were meant to exchange custody of children, and they went into the back of the car while their mom was in the driver’s seat. The father got into the passenger seat, and the two started arguing, which lead him to shoot the woman, then himself.
Their identities have not been released.
