Haverford Private School Among Best In PA, Nation In New Ranking

HAVERFORD, PA — One of the best private schools in Pennsylvania and the nation is right here in Haverford.

Education ranking service Niche evaluated 30,000 private schools on measures such as test score, academic performance and input from students, alumni and parents, as well as quantitative data to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities.

Niche then used that data to create its list of the 2026 Best Private High Schools in America.

And ranked quite well in the state and in the nation was Haverford's The Haverford School.

The Haverford School was Pennsylvania's 10th-best private high school, and the nation's 285th best.

Niche gave the school an overall grade of "A+."

Below are grades given to Episcopal Academy in specific categories:

• Teachers — A
• Clubs & Activities — A+
• Sports — A
• Diversity — A-
• College Prep — A+

Niche also ranked The Haverford School Pennsylvania's top all-boys high school, and the nation's 19th best all-boys high school.
