Haverford Skatium Reopens After Months Of Renovation Work
The premier ice skating and hockey destination in Delaware County is open again after closing in May for some serious renovation work.
HAVERTOWN, PA — The Haverford Skatium is open for business again.
With the Philadelphia region dealing with some intense heat since June, the rink's opening offers up area skaters another way to cool off while getting in some fun and exercise.

Renovations included replacing the chiller system, which keeps the ice cold, installing new pumps, painting new lines on the surface, and more.
After all that work was completed, the rink reopened Sunday.
