Haverford Township Declares Snow Emergency
All township buildings -- Administration, Skatium, Recreation, CREC, including Library -- will be closed on Thursday.

The following message comes from Haverford Township Manger Lawrence Gentile:
After consulting with my staff and evaluating the most recent forecast regarding the approaching winter storm that will produce a high probably of considerable snow accumulations, I am declaring a Snow Emergency for Haverford Township effective 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4th through 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 5th. (See attached).
All township buildings (Administration, Skatium, Recreation, CREC, including Library) will be closed on Thursday and will reopen 8:00a.m., on Friday March 6th.

Our Public Works personnel will need approximately 6 to 8 hours to prepare our sanitation vehicles with chains and plows to assist with the snow removal process, therefore, all trash & recycling collections will be cancelled for Thursday. Thursday s trash & recycling will be collected on Tuesday, March 10th. Friday s trash & recycling will remain on schedule.
