Havertown Ice Cream Shop Among Area's Best: Philadelphia Magazine

HAVERTOWN, PA — Summer is upon us, and that means many people are searching for cold, sweet treats to beat the heat and satisfy the sweet tooth.

And if you're in the Havertown area, you're close to one of the best ice cream shops in the region, according to Philadelphia Magazine.

Writer Laura Swartz published a list of the best ice cream shops in and around Philadelphia recently.

Among the spots she said are go-to places for scoops in the Philadelphia suburbs was Koffmeyer’sin Havertown.

Here's what Swartz had to say about the Brookline Boulevard ice cream purveyor:

This longtime Society Hill cookie bakery moved to the suburbs in 2011 and added Pennsylvania-made Leiby’s ice cream to its offerings at the same time, somehow making an already-perfect menu even better.

Koffmeyer’s is located at 7 Brookline Boulevard in Havertown.
