Tuesday Morning Closing Delaware County Store Amid Bankruptcy Filing
In its bankruptcy filing, Tuesday Morning Corp. said it is closing more than half of its 487 stores located in "low-traffic regions."
DREXEL HILL, PA — Tuesday Morning is closing one of its Delaware County locations after its parent company declared bankruptcy Tuesday.
The store, located in the Pilgrim Gardens Shopping Center at 1043 Pontiac Road in Drexel Hill, made the list of a "low-traffic region" store, among the 263 stores Dallas-based Tuesday Morning said it would close in a company statement.
That total is among half of the discount home goods retailer's stores. Tuesday Morning Corp. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection earlier this month.

Overall, the company has 487 stores in 40 states that employ about 1,600 full-time and 4,700 part-time employees.
