DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Heavy rains over the past several days soaked sections of Delaware County as officials and authorities dealt with some flooding and road closures.
Numerous communities reported flooding which caused road closures and also had officials monitoring flood levels along the Schuylkill and Delaware rivers, and Darby Creek, among other places.

Thursday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. West wind, 5 to 10 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Friday: A slight chance of showers after 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 51. West wind, 10 to 15 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
